At SCMC, we are committed to connecting with and supporting the communities we serve. Recently, our team participated in a community health fair in Zebulon, NC, in partnership with Empowered Citizens.

During the event, we provided guided bus tours, conducted health screenings, and shared general health information with community members. It was a wonderful opportunity to engage directly with individuals and families, helping to promote wellness and increase awareness of available health resources.

We are proud to have made a positive impact and look forward to continuing our outreach efforts to support healthier communities.

How We’re Involved in the Community

Stop by our resource tables to connect with SCMC representatives and pick up valuable flyers and materials. We’ll be providing information on local healthcare services, important medical topics, and community resources designed to support your overall well-being.

🚐 Medical Bus Services
Our mobile medical bus brings quality care directly to the community! Services offered include:

Blood pressure checks
Sports physicals for students
Tours for students interested in a medical career
Specific appointments by request

We’re committed to helping our community stay safe and healthy, and our mobile services are just one way we deliver care where it’s needed most.

🧠 Health Education & Info Sessions
SCMC also provides free, informative health sessions on a variety of topics, including:

Mental health awareness
Women’s and men’s health
Retinal eye exams
Mammograms
